- Student lists verbs in the passive voice. Verbs used in the passive voice signify action that is performed to or on the subject of a sentence. Verbs in the passive voice are past participles with a form of the verb “to be” proceeding it. Examples include, but are not limited to:

- Student identifies examples of verbs in the active voice in a text. The student correctly identifies examples of verbs used in the active voice in the sentences of various texts.
