Continuum of Activities
The list below represents a continuum of activities: resources categorized by Standard/Eligible Content that teachers may use to move students toward proficiency. Using LEA curriculum and available materials and resources, teachers can customize the activity statements/questions for classroom use.
This continuum of activities offers:

Activities
- A recipe for a milkshake needs cups of ice cream and cups of strawberries, and cups of milk. How many cups of ingredients do you need altogether to make the milkshake?
- Gary is painting pieces of wood for a tree house. The first board he painted blue was feet long. The second board he painted red was feet long. How much longer is the blue board than the red one?
- Explain the steps you would use to solve . Be sure to include the correct answer.
- Lucy was making a blanket and bought yards of fleece to make it. When she was finished making the blanket she had yards of fleece left over. She told her friend that she used yards of fleece to make the blanket. Is Lucy correct? Explain.
