Pennsylvania Department of Education College Application Campaign
Pennsylvania High Schools are invited to participate in the Pennsylvania Department of Education College Application Campaign! The Pennsylvania College Application Campaign (PCAC) is part of the national American College Application Campaign (ACAC) initiative. ACAC is a national effort to increase the number of first-generation students and students from low-income families pursuing a college degree or other higher education credential. The primary purpose of this effort is to help high school seniors navigate the complex college admissions process and ensure they apply to at least one postsecondary institution. The effort occurs during the school day, with a focus on students who might not otherwise apply to college.
Information, toolkits and resources about PDE’s campaign as part to the national American College Application Campaign (ACAC) can be accessed here: PCAC | Department of Education | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Customizable social media posts, flyers, and email graphic are found in the Communications Toolkit, prepared by PDE and ready for your events.
Participating schools will be provided further support. For many events, expert staff from PDE and PHEAA will attend to help students apply for postsecondary pathways and financial aid to meet their interests and needs.
