The Data Literacy Action Summit: Weaving Data Fluency Across Disciplines for Civic Impact will take place on October 6, 2026, at PaTTAN Central in Harrisburg. This event will bring together educators and leaders from across Pennsylvania to explore why preparing students for a data rich world is increasingly essential. 

The summit is designed for teams of 2 to 4 teachers and school leaders from the same district, although individuals are also welcome to attend. Participating as a team can help move ideas into action and strengthen implementation back in your district. 

Event Highlights:

  • Featured speaker: Jeff Remington from Penn State’s Center for Science and the Schools
  • Free to attend
  • Breakfast refreshments and lunch provided
  • Optional scholarship support available for eligible participants to offset mileage and lodging 


Important Registration Information:

  • Each participant must register individually, even if attending as part of a team
  • Registration closes on September 14, 2026
  • Early registration is encouraged
