ATLAS: Authentic Tasks for Learning & Assessment in Science

ATLAS is a digital platform designed to support K-12 science educators by providing a library of NGSS-aligned performance tasks. The tool was created by California. It aims to empower educators with authentic, phenomena-based instruction and assessment that brings science to life. 

The platform is teacher-centered, collaborative, and focuses on authentic, experiential performance tasks that engage students with real-world science. ATLAS is a free, open-access digital platform that allows educators to search for and use science performance tasks. As a reminder, our PA STEELS science standards are 100% aligned to NGSS.
