June 29th Personal Finance and Children’s Literature Workshop
Educators and instructional leaders are invited to participate in a full-day workshop focused on the review of children’s books to support personal finance instruction in elementary and middle school classrooms.
The workshop will take place:

8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
PaTTAN Central in Harrisburg
Organizers have identified over 300 picture books, nonfiction texts, and chapter books that may connect to the new Academic Standards for Personal Finance, which go into effect in the upcoming school year. Participants will work collaboratively to review books, vet existing resources, and brainstorm connections. No prior experience teaching personal finance is required.
Participants’ travel costs will be reimbursed.
Lunch and Act 48 hours will be provided.
