2026 Youth Court Collaborative National Conference

We are proud to announce that REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the conference 

Street Law, one of the longest-standing law-related education programs in the country, is partnering with the National Association of Youth Courts (NAYC) to strengthen youth courts across the nation.  This is a three-year initiative funded by the American Arbitration Association Foundation.  Gregg Volz, a champion of youth courts in Pennsylvania, is consulting with this effort. He shared this upcoming conference announcement.

This training event will be presented by people who have been running youth courts for decades -keeping youth out of the juvenile justice system.  NAYC has a strong presence on the West Coast- California, Utah, Arizona and Alaska -but not so much on the East Coast. But youth courts are all over the nation.  Florida estimates its 45 youth courts save the government more than $25 million annually.   Pennsylvania has a number of youth courts in school and in the community, but we still need to build a statewide network.  It would be great to get some Pennsylvania educators, lawyers and judges, as well as elected officials, probation officers, DA's, PD's, policy experts, philanthropists and youth advocates to attend this conference. They could learn from some other states how inexpensive youth courts are to operate and how they can benefit schools and justice systems.
