Help Wanted! Updating Family and Consumer Sciences, Economics, and Career Education and Work PA Academic Standards

PDE is soliciting volunteers to assist in the review and updating of the Family & Consumer Sciences, Economics, and Career Education & Work PA Academic Standards.  The goal of this committee is to support the review of the standards to reflect current trends and ensure concepts related to financial literacy are adequately reflected in state academic standards.

The committees will develop recommendations for updated standards for consideration by the State Board of Education. The Board will conduct additional proceedings to solicit broader stakeholder feedback on these recommendations to determine the standards that will be proposed for adoption.

This committee will be composed of a limited number of educators and professionals from across the commonwealth who have content knowledge and/or professional expertise in the field.
