Families and Reading Month!

The Keystone State Literacy Association (KSLA) has proclaimed April as Families and Reading Month. Visit the KSLA website to download a variety of ideas and resources to promote reading in your school.

You will find letters for teachers and families explaining the purpose of Families and Reading Month; recommended books; websites; and apps for preschool, primary, intermediate, and middle school students; calendars full of fun literacy ideas; and certificates for families who participate. The family letter and calendars are available in Spanish. Feel free to share paper copies of the documents or post them electronically to your website or family communication platform.
