Color Absorption and Reflection
Color Absorption and Reflection
Grade Levels
Course, Subject
Rationale
What creates the color of a material?
Description
This activity uses a computer model to investigate how absorbing and reflecting different wavelengths of light affects the color of a material.
This interactive allows you to change the the absorption settings to see what color we will see based on the color absorbed. If the surface looks red to us, students can determine the color that is absorbed and reflected.
