What creates the color of a material?

Description

This activity uses a computer model to investigate how absorbing and reflecting different wavelengths of light affects the color of a material.

This interactive allows you to change the the absorption settings to see what color we will see based on the color absorbed. If the surface looks red to us, students can determine the color that is absorbed and reflected.
