- What are the 5 kingdoms?
- What is a dichotomous key?
- How are the organisms in the plant kingdom similar to those in the animal kingdom? How are they different?
- Use the following list of organisms to create a dichotomous key: elephant, dolphin, marigold, palm tree, amoeba, and yeast.

- Plants produce their own food. Animals must eat other organisms.
- Animals breathe oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
- Plants use carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and release oxygen.
