The list below represents a continuum of activities: resources categorized by Standard/Eligible Content that teachers may use to move students toward proficiency. Using LEA curriculum and available materials and resources, teachers can customize the activity statements/questions for classroom use.

- Name 5 factors that are necessary for life in any ecosystem. Identify if they are biotic or abiotic.
- Predict what might happen to a population of gray wolves if all but one of their food sources disappears from their ecosystem. Use facts to defend your prediction.
- Write a paragraph to explain at least three reasons why diversity is important within an ecosystem.
