Answer Key/Rubric
- Students will choose the detail that supports the given main idea.
- Students should identify what the information on the graph is showing.
- Students will identify the main idea of the video. It should tell what the movie is mostly about.
- Students should list the details that support the main idea of the story.
- Students should recognize that the main idea of both the movie and the book are very similar. They should note any details that were present in both the movie and the book. They should then note any details that were in one, but not the other.
- Students should discuss specific details that were in the book, but not in the movie. They should how these missing details might make it difficult to clearly understand the story in the movie. They might discuss how reading the book prior to viewing the movie made it easier to understand the movie.
