Mathematics Empowerment through Standards-Based Grading (ME-SBG) helps
schools implement a proven, student centered grading system that boosts learning without overburdening teachers.

WHY IT WORKS
Students learn more when they’re given a second chance to succeed. ME-SBG
emphasizes:

PAID PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Teachers:

  • 3-day summer training (Year 1)
  • 1-day refresher (Year 2)
  • Ongoing PLC support

Principals:

  • 1-day training in implementation year

Control schools will receive paid professional development in Years 3 and 4.
