Prepare for the April 8 Total Eclipse of the Sun Join a State Library of Pennsylvania event!
Virtual Event: Thursday, March 14, noon to 1 p.m.
In-person Event: Tuesday, March 19, noon to 1 p.m.
As we prepare for a total eclipse of the sun in April, join State Library staff in a virtual or an in-person program about eclipses and their history! Participants at the in-person event can try out a sun telescope and a Sunspotter, as well as the Sunoculars. Our virtual event will feature demonstrations of the same devices, and discussion about sunspots and flares.
The in-person event will take place at the State Library of Pennsylvania STEMlab, March 19, noon to 1 p.m. 1st Floor, Forum Building, 607 South Drive, Harrisburg PA 17120.
