Structured Literacy Content Advisor

Kate Bacher has recently assumed the role of Structured Literacy Content Advisor.  Kate has 24 years of service in the field as a high school language arts instructor, Title 1 Reading instructor, Instructional Coach, and most recently a K-6 principal.  

As the Structured Literacy Content Advisor, she will be supporting schools and educators in the pursuit of providing all students in Pennsylvania with high quality effective reading instruction. Those involved and interested in learning and sharing more about Structured Literacy are encouraged to join the SAS Structured Literacy Learning Community where up to date information and eBlasts will be shared on a regular basis.
