Celebrate April’s Families and Reading Month

The Keystone State Literacy Association (KSRA) has proclaimed April as Families and Reading Month! Resources are available for educators - and ultimately families to promote literacy opportunities in the home during the month of April.

Preview the KSRA resources: you’ll find a letter for teachers explaining the purpose of Families and Reading Month and sharing ideas for how to promote literacy in the home; recommended books, websites, and apps for preschool, primary, intermediate, and middle school students; and calendars full of engaging literacy ideas. Certificates for families who participate are also available on the website.
