Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Initiative: Plan into Action

The February edition of The Initiative Bulletin from Penn State’s Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education highlights Red Lion School District educators’ approach to teaching difficult topics.  With  participation in The Initiative’s 2021-22  program, a yearlong inquiry community was established  to focus on dealing with difficult topics – with a  belief that inquiry around these difficult topics could improve teacher practice and students' learning.  Learn now this professional learning experience is impacting their practice and students' learning.
