Description
By creating a terrarium, students will examine first-hand how water is continuously cycled between the Earth and the atmosphere. Students will be able to explain how the water cycle recycles the Earth’s water supply, make use of the knowledge of land and water formations, form a hypothesis on how/why the water cycle works, and connect the concepts of precipitation, condensation, and evaporation. Modifications can be made for high school students.
