Share several different versions of The Three Little Pigs. After reading each version, discuss what the children liked about that version. When several versions have been shared, give each child a post-it-note to write her/his name on. These post its will then be used by the children to stick to the cover of their favorite version of The Three Little Pigs. After each child has placed her/his name on her/his favorite version, discuss and graph the findings on a class graph.

This book can be used when teaching children about using concrete objects and pictures to represent collected data. This literature is appropriate for grade level(s) PreK-K.
