Brachiopods are among the most common Paleozoic fossils. These invertebrate organisms commonly attached themselves to shells, rocks, or other solid objects. This sample was collected from the Lower Devonian (loose boulder of Alsen or Becraft limestone) of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
