Description

Teach UNICEF provides lessons, games, multimedia, and kinesthetic activities geared toward helping young students understand some of the world’s hunger problems.

This resource is aligned to the Global Competence Curriculum Framework:

  • Evaluate several solutions to a global problem by engaging in a design thinking model. (6-8)
  • Create several solutions to a problem through brainstorming, brain-writing, and ideation. (3-5)
  • Identify an issue/problem for which finding a solution would benefit the local community. (6-8)
  • Identify an issue/problem for which finding a solution would benefit your school. (3-5)
  • Solve a regional or global problem using realistic and viable action steps. (6-8)
