Description

This is a repository of free lesson plans relating to current events around the world and the reporting about them, an analysis of this journalism and photographs about them, and often an action­­­­­­­­­ as a culminating project.

 

This resource is aligned to the Global Competence Curriculum Framework:

  • Analyze the effect of historical events and people on decision making and problem solving within contemporary culture and the global community.
  • Analyze and critique multiple perspectives on global problems and issues.
  • Read diverse texts to draw cultural comparisons and contrasts.

 

This resource is aligned with the ACTFL Standards on cultural perspectives and cultural comparisons.
