The News Literacy Project
First, mark your calendar for Feb. 2-6 for the seventh annual National News Literacy Week! During the week, the News Literacy Project offers special events and resources to help educators equip their students with the news literacy skills they need to become better informed and more civically engaged.
In the meantime, check out NLP’s News literacy for mental health and wellness resource hub, which features a 5-week “Brain Gains” planner themed around weekly “exercises” students can do to strengthen their ability to make healthy choices online
